This picture represents three-dimensional figures using nets made up of rectangles and triangles, You can use these to figure out the number of faces, vertices and edges.
Students can predict the shapes that will be made.
I would use this as a reference sheet for students to be placed int heir math notebook. This sheet will teach and remind students of the representation of tenths and hundredths, outline in the grade TEKS
A site that has EVERY shape imaginable as a PDF-just print, cut, fold and glue! Even lists the number of faces, edges, and vertices. Great resource for making geometry concepts accessible.
Write the dimensions of pantry items on sticky notes. Have kids measure and stick the dimensions to the right objects! This is a great way to learn depth, width, and height/length! I would have them stick them on their best guesses first!
