The top is a layer of coco chalk paint with dark wax and a good sanding to bring some of the old color through. The hardware was too "new" looking so it was dry brushed with a little french linen and a good dark wax. Country Grey base using the end of rolled cardboard to add LOTS of texture, then dry brushed 1 part graphite to 3 parts old white, creating a color much like Paris Gray. I painted white in a lot of the details as well. Wax with clear and dark wax, it was perfect.
