Get a big map of the world, or United States and you throw darts at it. It's more of a family project, or if you like to travel. Wherever the dart lands, that's the next place you visit. It's all about being spontaneous.

hmmmm maybe chalkboard map for Kstar's office space. do map permanent ink and title it "Where in the world is Kristy Stark" and she can red/pink heart where she currently is (or about to go to next). we can diy a cuter version of this!

Love this map star garland. This blogger bought it on etsy but I'm sure they sell big star punches at Michaels and I have lots of old maps of my dad's that would make a special way of displaying them where I'd get to see them every day instead of every few years when I go in a bin of lost things. There is also a great framed art use of the stars too.

I love the map look, but you can use any pictures to decoupage an old lamp and give it a new life!

DIY -Family Picture cubes in clear vase. Template included. Love this decorating idea for a cute coffee table, entry hall or buffet table. It would be cute to put some sand and shells in one with your vacation pics on the cubes or something else symbolizing your travels. Like a vacation memory jar.

When you want to preserve family recipes photograph the originals or scan them. Then place them into a book or something similar. Also organize recipes by family events like Thanksgiving etc. so that everyone knows what the traditions are for your family.

Love this Family Tree Customizable Olive Tree from local girl EvaJuliet.

Mom used to have this saying posted in her room. It's good to remember for my own child now.
