Roasted Broccoli and Cheddar Soup 1 large bunch broccoli, cut into florets 1 tablespoon oil salt and pepper to taste 1 tablespoon oil 1 medium onion, diced 2 cloves garlic, chopped 1 teaspoon thyme, chopped 3 cups vegetable broth or chicken broth or chicken stock 1 1/2 cups aged cheddar, shredded 1 cup milk or cream salt and pepper to taste 1 tablespoon grainy mustard (optional)
Roasted Broccoli and Cheddar Soup/Great soup. I used vegetable stock and subbed the heavy cream with ff condensed milk. Sprinkled bacon on top. The grainy mustard took it up a notch. It's a keeper and I will make again.
Crock Pot Beef and Broccoli, I made this one, both me and the hubby liked it! I did change the meat because I didn't want to slice the beef on my own, I used round steak, thin so all I had to do was cut it into the size I wanted. Also I listened to this lady and cooked mine at 4 hours and added fresh broccoli and cooked for another 30 mins...perfect!
