all paper toweling has "some" pattern on it. Some pattern are cute used this way, but not smooth.
Viva is perfectly smooth on one side and there is no pattern. I use a fondant smoothing tool and it works!

Not 'perfectly' smooth but pretty darn close. Time consuming procedure but I suppose it's worth it if you 'need' a smooth frosting.
