TRUE...I did this with my students, and I do it now with Landon. It's much more effective at getting their attention, and the ones who tend to goof off more when embarrassed don't get the attention of the people around them when you're correcting them.
Well maybe not bruises from playing outside, but lots of imagination. (I mainly just ran around the house because I didn't always think about going outside. When I did I normally went outside by myself and tried not to fall down or get hurt or anything.)
