Victorian Photo Booth

People still did the same poses during the Victorian Era, except you know, without having to use the sepia effects in iPhoto. Also, today I learned that some Victorians did have emotions.

“A three second exposure meant that subjects had to stand very still to avoid being blurred, and holding a smile for that period was tricky. As a result, we have a tendency to see our Victorian ancestors as even more formal and stern than they might have been.” That's why this is the coolest thing ever....it's funny how things don't change too much even when we think they do..I have an old photo booth print from my grandparents when they were dating its one of my most prized possessions..ah love

Victorian couple. Miles away from the staid portraits we're used to seeing from the era. SO NICE TO SEE REAL EMOTION AND A LOVING HAPPY COUPLE OF THAT TIME
