Mushroom, Onion, and Garlic Cream Sauce for Pasta Recipe saute 1/12c mushrooms, 1 diced onion and 2 cloved garlic in 2 tablespoons olive oil until the mushroom starts to golden and the onion is soft. Add 1/2 cup chicken stock, 1 1/2 cup cream and 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill. Let it simmer for 5 minutes and season with salt and pepper. Serve over pasta and sprinkle w/grated parmesean
PASTA :: Stuffed Pasta Shells :: 24 jumbo pasta shells, 1lb Italian sausage, 24 oz marinara, 15 oz part-skim ricotta, 2-3 minced garlic cloves, 2 c. chopped baby spinach, 8 oz chopped mushrooms, 1/2 c. grated Parm, salt & pepper, 1/2 c. grated mozzarella :: Cook pasta & brown meat, spread marinara in casserole dish, combine remaining ingredients (except mozz) w/ cooked sausage, stuff in shells & place on top of sauce. Sprinkle w/ mozz. Bake 10-12 min @ 400 degrees then broil 2-5 min.
