Write notes back & forth with your child. Leave it on their bed, when they have a chance, they write back and leave it on your bed. How neat would it be to have those notes to look back on? Doing this!

Bored Jar: if a kid complains of boredom they have to pick a slip & do the activity, good or bad. It might be going for ice cream, it might be cleaning their room. SUCH a great idea! :)

Chore and Homework chart! Easy to make with felt and sticky felt letters from the dollar store. Write chore and dollar amount on the clothespin and put in the "to do" then the kids can move them over to the "done" side upon completion. Homework doesn't get a dollar amount! Maybe a reward at the end of the week for doug all homework (ice cream, etc). Colorful, simple and useful!!!
