Dresser Turned Bench- might take this idea and throw my own spin on it. make it lower to the ground. and ea. kid a window seat in their br. use the drawer to put blankets or as storage... a throw pillow to match the seat and maybe a little bookshelf on the side to hold a few of their favourite stories.

Vanity -- refurbished desk painted and worn down hot pink -- cutte for a girls bedroom maybe? If I had the space in my room I'd be all over it!

Built-In Drawers between wall studs. Imagine how much space you could save w/out dressers! Good idea for when we redo the boys' shared room. Build drawers into the east wall so dressers don't take up play space.

I love this. It makes sense because the gathering place always ends up being the kitchen. It makes me want to hang out there with my friends, chatting the night away with a glass of wine.

If the dresser drawers are broken, remove them, paint the dresser and install baskets instead.

Take an old dresser, paint it up, maybe add a cutting board top or marble, some hooks and shiny knobs. Voila! Kitchen cart.
