String quilts are so much fun to make with your leftover scraps. I sewed mine onto a light weight muslin back. Bought a flannel backing for it and didn't need any batting because it was already heavy enough. If you make it with flannel, make sure you wash that flannel a couple of times in very hot water because it shrinks like crazy!
Great way to use scraps- looks like block was made using strips to fill up block. Then cut corner to corner to make 4 triangle , then sewn back together to create the block. Hmmm, love this idea and the white sashing make the blocks just pop
