Dreaming of a 4 poster bed for your Master Bedroom retreat? Create the look with curtain rods on the ceiling

curtain rods from ceiling create 4 poster bed. I love this idea! Four poster beds are so expensive, and this gives the same kind of look!

Curtain rods from ceiling create 4 poster bed. Would this work for mosquito netting?!

Great idea... Very elegant yet still warm and "homey"... To make a canopy: attach curtain rods to the ceiling and hang curtains from them! As an adult, I like openness and minimalism in the bedroom, but as a kid, I fantasized about having a lush canopy bed. This seems like a great, not-too-expensive way to create a dream bedroom for a little girl. or a big girl, like me.

I actually have this exact bed . It doesn't have the lattice though . It was built in 1913 . The date was stamped on the metal springs that were on it . We have had it for 37 years .

Bedroom... I would have loved to use this idea in my daughters first "big girl" room! I love the colorful mix of print and textures.

This room is gorgeous sans furniture! Add the big comfy bed? Priceless! the large windows help to brighten the space-but I'm worried about the nighttime. Would it be too dark? I'd love to see two little chairs and a cute end table rather than the couch-but none-the-less this room is beautiful.
