Hand Print Duck - a realistic one!

Cute handprint art project when talking about birds and/or migration. We were going to do this but in the interest of time, I ended up having the kids simply paint a paper towel roll the same color as their handprints and we made our birds that way. It didn't look as pretty and refined as this, but the kids liked playing with them and used their imaginations to turn their birds into other things like airplanes!

Great idea for teaching the alphabet & having a memory of those little hands! This could get a little messy, but what’s fun without a little mess? :) source:

Previous pinner said: Hand Print Crafts--I still have the one my oldest made for me 18 years ago for Mother's Day. Luckily her teacher was a mom who knew the importance of such an item and had the children make them on something more substantial than construction paper, mat board. This item is framed and hangs in our home to this day.
