Make Your Own: Washable “Swiffer” Dusters: Don't know about y'all, but the women in my family (once they've reached retirement age and older) always say is for you're going to give them a gift they want soaps, detergents, etc (things that can really add up when you have strict income). These are a great idea as a gift for such a situation. Also great gift for the "green" friend or family member.

DIY Swiffer Duster - Pattern made from micro fleece

  • V. Carda

Reusable Swiffer Dusters ~~ Made from 4 layers of micro fleece, works even better than the disposables ~~ The best thing I've noticed about using these dusters is they don't flatten out like the disposable ones do, so they actually last longer. ~~ They are washer and dryer safe (with out fabric softener)

This is a homemade, reuseable Swiffer refill. I just made one and ran it around the kitchen floor. It works! I'm pretty excited! It only cost about a $1 to make!

make your own washable swiffer dusters, made some and love them, spray with a little dusting spray and when you are done throw them in the laundry. Plus I used a scrap I had so it didn't cost me a thing.

*Easy Swiffer from Fleece - Doesn't work as well as a regular swiffer duster, just pushes the dust around. (Although the fleece floor swiffers are spectacular.) Just sew a rectangular "mitt" for dusting from 2 layers of fleece, open on one side to insert your hand. Works much better.

no sew, which is very important since i don't sew
