    Fishing game All you need is a stick, some thread (or string/wool), a magnet, some paperclips and some peper for the fish. First of all you need to collect a good stick to use as a fishing pole. I used a craft knife to shave off all the nobbles! Tie your string to one end of the pole. At the other end of the pole you need to attach a bead with a magnet glued to it. Once you have cut out some fish shapes, punch a hole in the ‘nose’ and attach a paperclip – easy!

    SINGING TIME IDEA: Fishing game...paper version...with downloadable templates. This would be fun maybe made out of felt or fabric... (also use for KID FUN when we don't know what to do, we can go fishing for ideas... like make cookies, or talk a walk, etc.)

Had a little girl at the children's hospital who's father made her something similar to this...except it was a real fishing pole with a magnet in the end, and a beanie baby fish that had "surgery" to have a magnet inserted in it's nose! Clever idea and tons of fun!

This would be a fun party game or gift idea. :) *note link doesn't work but if you look at the photo it looks like they used colorful kids socks, buttons, ribbon, stuffing, a pole, string, and magnets. You can upcycle all those cool and colorful missing socks. Fun Girl Scout activity to make and easy DIY craft idea to get the kids involved.
