Competitive Advantage. Michael Porter

Competitive Advantage. Michael Porter

This book is a business classic which it has taken me over 30 years to read. Michael Porter was ahead of the time in his thinking - the value chain concept; the need for strategy to impact activity; and the role of interrelationships. Sadly many of Porter's main lessons are still unlearned with too many leaders relying on paper-thin thinking. For me his incredible grasp of his subject led to much fine detail and made the book a difficult read. www.hartswoodmanagement.co.uk
