Love this painted shelving! Made using sample pots + Ikea's super cheap storage. Great for study (lots of space for piles of mags and gear) or kitchen.

Paint front of shelving only. Painting tops = oil-based paint or lacquer to prevent chipping = WAY too involved. Vertical piece is white. Other colors from what's in the room (Benjamin Moore paint color accents in ‘Super White,’ ‘Razzle Dazzle,’ ‘Americana,’ ‘Hannity Green,’ ‘Once Upon a Time,’ and ‘Cheerful’)
I saw a variation of this on Lush House that I thought was clever. They painted the insides of the shelving unit and left the outer edges white. It was crisp and clean, and so cheerful looking!

Wisteria $325; these shelves remind me of the shelves (albeit all wood) we had in the living room when I was a child. Wish there was an extra shelf for more storage, but I do like the openness of the unit.
Like the hovering bookcase that doesn't touch the floor. Great solution for keeping heat/AC registers clear.
