Choose two colors for your checkerboard tile pattern. We chose a metallic copper for our base and a creamy neutral for our topcoat. Use a brush to paint the entire wall surface with the copper-colored basecoat. Allow to dry. Then, using a ruler, mark off squares with a pencil. Make your squares as big or as small as you like.
