Glow stick jar I tried this myself, and it actually works. Don't add water though, because it ruins it.

Take a glow stick, cut the top off and dump the contents into a jar (we used an empty baby food jar). We used just one glow stick ~ next time I'll use 2 or 3 for a bigger impact. The contents are non-toxic but be careful because it will stain your clothing. I spilled one on the counter and it looked like a crazy glowing crime scene.

Add glow sticks to a soap dispenser for parties.

Take your favorite liquid fabric softener and soak an old hand towel or flour cloth completely with it. Wring it out and let it dry completely, then throw it in with your next load. This mega-fabric softener sheet should be good for at least 40 loads of laundry WHAT A GREAT IDEA!!

Faries in a jar. I will be trying this with wine bottles. Glow sticks cut open and dumped into a jar with glitter. What an inexpensive idea for summer lights on the patio.
