Old dresser turned into Kitchen Island...I did this in my kitchen with the dresser I had as a baby (extra special!!). I put my baking pans in the bottom drawer, baggies/foil/shrinkwrap in the middle, and "snacky" stuff in the top. I really like the addition of the tea cup hooks for tools.
A tropical aqua paint gave inexpensive wood cabinetry an appealing, authentic look in this Key West, Florida, kitchen. The counters are pine from a 1920s Palm Beach Hotel. (Photo: Tria Giovan) Wall paint: Hibiscus (2027-50) by Benjamin Moore; Cabinet paint: Aquatint (6936) by Sherwin-Williams

Two Story Library This was another "what if" moment... When this sunken library was in construction, I looked up and said "What if we did a catwalk around the room?"... This is the result- a rich wood-paneled two story library with a reading niche on the second level. The stained and scored concrete features a sharp navigational star design in the middle... -Design by Champagne Chic Interiors
