I think I'm going to be sick. Sounds very 1950s "meet him at the door with a martini"

  • Nicholette Tilghman

It's funny to me that most of these are basic things that any human being should to to treat another human being lovingly, and yet they are seen as things that "make people sick." wow. That is sad that paying attention to someone when they're talking to you and not naggin at someone are things that work against what women have been trying to achieve--like what? being nags and ignoring our husbands, for instance?

  • Kyra Fullmer

I agree with you, Nicholette! This is how husbands and wives SHOULD be treating one another.... and nowhere did it mention martinis at the door. It's about loving your spouse and showing them that you respect them.

  • Mary Chris Vela

I agree with you. it's about respecting one another if you go to the site she has ways for the husband to respect his wife. I've been married 33 years and we use alot of those basic things

  • Emily Gosling

I think these are things that BOTH partners should de for each other. Yes, it's geared toward women (it does seem to be a religious site after all), but I really think it's good advice for both people in a relationship. Martini at the door? Sounds great! When I get home later than him, I'd expect the same in return!!

Think I can do all of these before his birthday? I'm going to try!

how to talk your husband into murder...

Respecting Your Husband {in Opposite World} Dr. Emerson Eggerich says “No husband feels fond feelings of affection and love in his heart when he believes his wife has contempt for who he is as a human being. Ironically, the deepest need of the wife – to feel loved – is undermined by her disrespect.”

How can you respect yourself, when he beats you???? Maybe HE has to respect his wife.

Cute Idea for a Christmas present - make a book detailing each type of compliment and get him a little gift to go with it on each page ex. compliment his work ethic: you work so hard to take care of us. Sometimes I don't know how you make it through the day. You're so amazing. But, just in case you ever need some R here are some "coupons" for 10 free massages from yours truly! :)
