Recipe for Homemade Mango Sorbet 2 very ripe and fragrant (orange-colored) Mangoes 2/3 Cup sugar 1 Tablespoon White Rum

No Ice Cream Machine Required - Who doesn't love icy cold sorbet when it's hot out? Forget the worrying over not having an ice cream maker since these treats are made right in your blender. Three refreshing recipes to help cool you down: easy peasy blueberry, coconut banana twist, and sweet and spicy mango.

Orange Sorbet in an Ice Cream maker (or without)

Berries Sorbet: 1 c. each fresh blackberries, raspberries, blueberries & 1/2 cup honey, 1/4 cup sugar, 2 cups water, + zest & juice of 1 lemon. Bring all ingredients to a boil over medium high heat, then reduce & simmer 10 mins. Remove from heat & cool. Puree until smooth in a blender, strain through fine mesh cloth, process in an ice cream machine according to the instructions.
