@Lisa Phillips-Barton Auge: I think this is the next thing you need to get for your camera... it's usually the "next" lens a person gets after the kit lenses with their DSLR. It's better for low light and in regular light, it takes really great, crisp photos. It does not have any zoom and it takes a bit to get used to, but now that I'm forcing myself to use it, I'm loving it. Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens: CANON: Camera & Photo

The Canon 85mm L lens is an awesome prime lens that is perfect for portrait photography. If you want the best portrait images you need the best portrait lens, and if you shoot with a Canon this is it.

The Nikon 105mm macro lens is Nikon's top end macro lens, and it is simply awesome. This lens is super sharp and the image quality is second to none. With a 105mm focal length this lens allows enough working distance for capturing images of insects and mini beasts, although it can be used for taking macro images of any subject. If you want the most versatile macro lens for your Nikon dslr camer the 105mm macro is the lens to buy.
