"It was my mustache that landed jobs for me. In those silent-film days it was the mark of a villain. When I realized they had me pegged as a foreign nobleman type I began to live the part, too. I bought a pair of white spats, an ascot tie and a walking stick." - Adolphe Menjou

Movie #9 was Much Ado About Nothing. Joss Whedon did a fantastic job directing this film. This was a fantastic, charming adaptation of Shakespeare's work. Alexis Denisof and Amy Acker both shine, and Nathan Fillion was hilarious and great, despite this being his first time doing Shakespeare. The filmography and choice of going black and white is superb. Overall I loved it and recommend everyone watch it.

Conrad Veidt made his living in Hollywood playing sinister Nazis, but in real life he was handsome and hated the Nazi party. He sent a lot of his own fortune back to Germany to help the resistance bring down the Nazis. Supposedly comic book artist Bob Kane, writer Bill Finger, and artist Jerry Robinson used stills of Veidt in "The Man Who Laughs" as inspiration for the iconic supervillain The Joker.

ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST 1975. Amazing. Still holds up after all these years; Jack Nicholson is incredible, as is the strong supporting cast, including a young Danny DeVito and Christopher Lloyd. If you've never seen it, do yourself a favour, watch it. NB: you'll hate Nurse Ratched.
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is a 1975 American drama film directed by Miloš Forman, based on the 1962 novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey, and starring Jack Nicholson, Louise Fletcher, and Will Sampson. The supporting cast features William Redfield, Brad Dourif, Danny DeVito, Christopher Lloyd, and Scatman Crothers.
