Eight Hour Day, Bienville identity. Beautiful solution for a motorcycle company. Slightly reminiscent of the Cadillac logo, but with a "sting" and a gritty edge. The poster is also beautiful and makes the brand appear old school (even though it was only started in 2006).
Really like the design implemented in the fonts, as well as the contrast between decorative fonts and simple sans serif fonts. The portion where the font covers the picture is visually appealing because the white font draws from the light colors in the background while it still contrasts enough to stand out.
I like this typography logo because whenever I think of a hard ware store I like to think of an old fashioned one, and this logo does a good job of representing that. It gives it an old-timey "mom and pop" feel, and the letters flow in a way that makes it so "Huey's" could be separated from "hard ware," or kept together.
