Pulling together all the design details for Quantum of the Seas lofts and suites.

Working on a scale unlike any project I’ve done before: Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas.

Visiting Papenburg, Germany with Royal Caribbean's design team to see Quantum of the Seas firsthand and finalize the last few details for the Lofts and Suites.

Suites aren't complete without fabrics in rich Royal blue. #quantumoftheseas

Where it all began: the plans for Quantum of the Seas. Wouldn't this make a stunning wallpaper or fabric?

For the Quantum Suites, we leaned heavily on classic and contemporary styles and lessened our focus on just traditional. It's progressive, graphic, clean but really comforting. #quantumoftheseas

This is why we travel. #sunset

One of the best things about being onboard: the quiet perches, the nooks and crannies of the ship where all you hear and see are water... that is peace.

Enjoying every experience. Our final group dinner on Oasis of the Seas.

My daughter and I, family and friends all boarded Oasis of the Seas for a fabulous Caribbean cruise. After this winter, it was about survival, we needed some vitamin D. My favorite part? Understanding how it moves, how people move through it, and how to design for it.

Finding inspiration under palm trees. St. Johns, US Virgin Islands.

Travel is the most inspiring piece of life, so being able to design for travel is, well... a dream. #stlucia

In the end, no matter what you’re designing for—a ship, a home, a hotel, a store, etc. —it's about curating and creating an incredibly comfortable, aspirational, and beautiful space that people want to be in. #labadee

As a designer, you have to pull inspiration from everything, everywhere, all of the time. El Morro's Garita, San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Not a bad place to look for inspiration. Starfish Beach, Grand Cayman.

Morocco on my mind. I like to draw heavily on Moorish and Middle Eastern palettes, type, and ancient patterns.
