Animals need some love, too! Here’s a fun family project to get your kids interacting with nature and learning more about the birds in your neighborhood. More hearts all around! We could make bird feeders and then send Tom and Travis to the woods with the kids - hang them for the birds....Toni and ?? could go along and take pictures for us!! :)

BIRD FEEDER Great gift idea Sprinkle 2 packages of gelatin over 1/2 cup cold water. Let it sit a couple of minutes until gelatin has absorbed the water. Heat 1 3/4 cups water in a pan, then add in the gelatin mixture. Stir until dissolved. Stir in 3 cups birdseed. Allow mixture to cool until gelatin is thick and coats all the birdseed.Wrap a piece of foil along the bottom and up the sides of a cookie cutter. Spray foil and cookie cutter with cooking spray. We used a 5 inch heart cookie cutter.

How to Make a Homemade Birdseed Wreath {for the birds} This is a wonderful craft to get the little ones involved with to treat our special feathered friends as the weather gets colder.
