    2y Saved to Michigan

No. It's all called Coke. Growing up I called every carbonated drink "coke". Then I moved to Michigan and it's all called "Pop". Now it's "soda". Funny how things have different names depending on what part of the U.S you live

It's called pop not soda. Filed under thoughts and not products 'cuz I wouldn't actually buy this shirt. :-)

    • Cara Kiger

Actually it's called Coke. Doesn't matter if it's Sprite, Dr. Pepper, Coca-cola or Orange Crush. It's all Coke. If you say "pop" or "soda" in the South, you'll get your ass kicked.

Nice! I have been forced to convert to "soda" because absolutely no one knows what pop is. lol It's an upper midwest thing. ;-)

Michigan! My St. Louis and Orlando nephews and niece would enjoy this shirt. They call pop, soda.

.....I need this protest of being here in the South! ......Order a soda in Michigan, and you're most likely considered an outsider. Do the same in New York, and no one will flinch. According to Bert Vaux, a linguistics professor at Harvard University, "many Americans are overly passionate about how they refer to the popular beverage family". It may not make sense, it may not be logical, but we don't care. It's called pop. Not soda.

    • Tricia Thompson

Michigan! If the shirt referred to the South, it would say "It's called Coke not pop!"
