DIY-candle-holders-with-doilie I am pretty sure that I could use paper doilies and paint them my colors and modge podge them. I would definitely use tealight lights instead of candles.

I wouldn't use the doilies I have crocheted, but I would use purchased ones to do this.

Blow up a balloon, cover it in doilies using a craft glue. When it's dry, pop the balloon & you have an awesome decoration. Bet you could use it as the lampshade on a small pendant light, too. Great-gramma's and my MIL's doilies may find another use.

DIY Spring Flower Tea Lights - First, cut the handles off of plastic spoons.  Use Glue Dots Advanced Strength Dispenser to adhere the flower petals to the back of the spoons and to adhere the spoons around the base of the tea light. Make sure the spoons are evenly spaced and repeat until the base is covered with spoons. Fill any gaps with Advanced Strength Glue Dots and remaining petals.
