Jean Cody. Vintage Book Page-Art. This page is over 75 years old and salvaged from a tattered 30’s dictionary. She printed this delightful image of a peacock (reproduced from an ancient painting) onto the lovely yellowed page.
Peacock stained glass art looked like ... The luminous Lady of the Lake, She's calling for her brood, Who's strayed one step too far. There's not just Grace, but Majesty In such moment. A duck with a clown's drape, Watching the sunset. You were the Duck. I was the Sun. Remember? ... ♥
Making "Thank You" notes from Brown Kraft paper, paint sample stips, and a punch-out. (sort of an Ombre thank you note!)... You could use ANY punch...such as a HEART punch for Valentine's Day, and a Valentine's sentiment for the stamp.... USE white stamp pad for the words to pop off the brown paper!
This is gorgeous. I really love this messy effect that you can have with watercolor and it looks great... I also really like it that with watercolor your drawing sometimes feels out of bounds or like it has no boundaries at all.
