John "Jack" Gilbert Graham was a mass murderer who killed 44 people in 1955 by planting a dynamite bomb in his mother's suitcase that was subsequently loaded aboard United Airlines Flight 629.He was executed age 24.

Dr. Edwin Katzen-Ellenbogen, who had degrees in both medicine and psychology was a Nazi physician in the concentration camp of Buchenwald. In the Buchenwald Camp Trial (part of the Dachau Trials) he was sentenced to lifetime imprisonment (later modified to 15 years of imprisonment).

After his arrest, he confessed to more murders than any other American serial killer: 71. Many of the victims were prostitutes. He strangled the women and dumped their bodies in wooded areas in Washington state’s King County. He entered a plea bargain and agreed to show authorities where missing victims were in exchange for not facing the death penalty.
