      MIRACLE CARPET STAIN REMOVER -- Fill an empty spray bottle with 1 part ammonia & 1 part HOT water, sprayed it LIBERALLY on the stain, lay the clean white towel on top of it and started ironing away! ********* It WORKS!!! We have had our carpets professionally cleaned and this stuff got out stains that they could not! *******************

    Equal parts ammonia & hot water, a hot iron, and a towel to get stains out of carpet. :: Someone suggests in the comments that if you have pets follow it up with some vinegar so the pets don't think the lingering ammonia smell means it's a place to pee.

    n light carpets, I've also found that the Clorox "pour directly on fabric" bleach works well on those tough spots. Pour onto carpet, let sit 2-3 minutes and then wash with water. It helps if you have a wet vac or carpet cleaner of some kind to pull all of the chemical from the carpet, but not necessary. Took out some nasty stains in our carpet like magic!
