This is a Saturday find! A 1934 Old McBrayer Bourbon Whiskey, distilled in 1917 @thebottlespot http://www.bottle-spot.com/posts/161133/richmond-virginia-whisky-for-sale-trade--prohibition-era-old-mcbrayer-bourbon--sealed-and-unopened-
Interesting "family tree" of bourbon showing how many brands come from large conglomerate distilleries (which make excellent bourbon--big doesn't mean bad!). Old Garnet is definitely not amongst these, nor is it as small as a craft distillery. In my fictional world, it is one of the last great independently-owned, family-owned and legendary bourbon brands.
