    Dr. Sylvia Earle and her fellow aquanauts are wrapping up their weeklong stay in Aquarius, an underwater live-in laboratory. Allowing humanity a unique chance to spend extended periods of time underwater conducting studies and documenting the environment, Aquarius is the last outpost of its kind. As the last scheduled mission comes to a close, Dr. Earle and her colleagues give their thoughts on the future of this national resource.

    Sue Austin, a British woman, decided seven years ago that she wanted to go scuba diving. The problem? She had been confined to a wheelchair for the last eight years of her life. Determined to make her dream a reality, Sue worked with a team of diving experts and academics to create an underwater wheelchair. The chair has swimming floats and two dive propulsion vehicles, which Austin controls with her feet.
