Febreze bottle) Preparation: Using a funnel, pour fabric softener and baking soda into your spray bottle. Fill spray bottle with hot tap water and shake well. Store-bought Febreze: $5.59 Homemade Febreze: $0.15 Total Savings: $5.44 OR 97.3%!

DIY Febreeze. An empty spray bottle, 1 1/2 cups water, 1 tablespoon baking soda, 1 to 2 tablespoons of fabric softener. Some say to just fill up the bottle, but I used filled an old Febreeze bottle like pictured, which apparently meant too much water because it wasn't as effective as I was wanting. Added more fabric softener and a little more baking soda and it's just like Febreeze.
