Large-leafed hostas sit at the feet of an arched-top arbor that frames the gate. Lovely purple clematis climbs over the arch. A very pretty sight and apparently entrance to the rest of the garden or the backyard.
A simple arch (with gate!) leading into the deer-proof garden, with much longer pickets of the fence, would be lovely. Don't need overly fancy stuff. Definitely want to incorporate an arbor as the entrance to Momma's Memorial Garden.
