Bicycle Wheel Garden Trellis: For any climbing Garden Goodies, like legumes, peas, & berries (heavier fruits may need added support). The original DIY for this was in the now-defunct ReadyMade Magazine, but it's fairly simple doing. DESIGN: Two old tire rims; twine, & something for the middle to suspend the trellis (conduit, plumbing pipe, metal or wood stakes). If possible, try drilling a hole through the pipe & inserting a dowel, or threaded steel to make it sturdy.

Using bike rims as a trellis for pole beans. Ingenious.

What a great idea for a trellis. Go to a bike graveyard & get some old wheels, with or without the tires....

This not only looks cool, it is way superior to having your pumpkins over run your entire garden!  I love that the pumpkins are dangling in the air!
