Dance at Bougival, 1882-1883 • Pierre-Auguste Renoir -- When I first saw this painting back in the 70's, that man's hat was back in style, making the painting even more relevant to my young teenage mind.

Renoir..this painting was about our mantle when I was a child and I thought this was of my mother and father dancing when they were happy~ it was always something that gave me hope they'd get back together~when I see it now it hits me in my heart so I am repinning :) it is beautiful
