How to make chalkboard paint. Easy and so much cheaper than buying chalkboard paint! Plus, lots of fun colours! Recipe: 1 cup of latex house paint or acrylic craft paint, 1 TBSP of non-sanded tile grout. Mix together until there are no lumps. Makes 1 cup.

Make your own chalk paint using plain interior paint mixed with Plaster of Paris. Mix 5 tablespoons of Plaster of Paris with 2 cups of paint and 2 tablespoons of water. It may be lumpy, but once you brush it on, it evens out.
