Queso Blanco Dip (White Cheese Dip), The Second and Final Attempt
Bless this person who got the real queso dip recipe that I have been trying to duplicate for years! May she live long and be prosperous! 1 1/4 lb block White American Cheese (Land O'Lakes brand preferred), cut into 1-inch cubes 1/4 cup diced green chiles 2 pickled jalapenos, chopped 1 ounce pickled jalapeno juice 2/3 cup whole milk 1/2 cup cold water pinch of cumin (optional)
Panda Express Chow Mein- 1/4 c. soy sauce, 1 T. brown sugar, 2 cloves garlic, 1 tsp. fresh ginger, black pepper to taste, 2-3 T. vegetable oil, 3 (5.6 oz) pkg refrigerated Yaki Soba noodles (found in the produce section of the grocery store.. usually the 3 packages are sold together in one 17oz. pack) 2/3 c. celery, 1 medium onion, 2 c. cabbage.
Make homemade taco bowls with small (6") tortillas, a little water & salt, and upside down muffin tins. Press the tortillas between the (cooking spray-greased) cups of the upside down tin into a bowl shape, sprinkle with water & salt, and then bake at 375 F for 10 minutes or until golden brown & crispy.
