When I moved to California from upstate New York I was completely seduced by the weather. I was not use to so much sunshine, but I must admit I do miss the clouds formed by the hot humid weather of the east. One feature of Ansel Adams photographs I love is the prominence of clouds and sky.

Ansel Adams was the first photographer I really responded to. This is one my favorite prints of his - "Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico, 1941."
