    My husband said,"This is the best pasta dish you've made yet!" My small changes: I used the Costco bulk pasta I had on hand. Added a bit more sugar and some smoked sea salt to my caramelizing onions. Added fried bacon. Used herbed goat cheese. Served with grilled eggplant and grilled chicken. (And ate with some Chateau St. Michelle Riesling [not sweet] wine!) Enjoy!!!

    Tried it with lime instead of lemon, no shallot, no red pepper flakes and added Mrs. Dash. Loved it! Though, I definitely would not have wanted more citrus flavor then the small lime I used.

Four-Cheese Mushroom Baked Ziti. Easy to add meat too if you want. Just layer ground beef in the middle!

Fig and goat cheese pizza. I buy gluten free pizza dough from a local restaurant and this is one of the best things I have ever eaten. You can use dried figs if need be, just soak them for a long time until plump and soft.

Portobello Mushroom Pizza. These are so delish. I tried a different version... Breakfast: portobello mushrooms, scrambles eggs, bacon, ham or sausage, mild salsa, tex mex, Monterey Jack, mozzarella, bake at 350F middle rack, for 15-20 mins.
