    Sgt. Dakota Meyer, first living Marine recipient of the Medal of Honor. He rescued 36 Marines, soldiers, and Afghan soldiers during six hours of combat. He was eventually wounded but was able to recover the bodies of his four teammates/friends. He is the first living Marine to receive the MOH since the Vietnam War.
