an overscale hand-antiqued mirror - beautiful! Not sure I'm sold on the hand-antiquing, but making this mirror on its own would be awesome.

You can make these Anthropologie mirrors your very own 'knock-off' project~~~~get different mirrors and/or windows {or get frames/windows and purchase or reporpuse the mirrors from some where else} Use one of the many 'acid wash' techniques found on 'Google' etc., {I also pinned a few} Attach the frames together as desired......"Voila!!!"

her instructions: I basically took doilies, folded them in half and double-sided taped them all around the mirror (tucking in the back half behind the mirror).

DIY distressed mirror - as i was reading how 2 do this I had an idea of using lace & spraying the muric acid through it for an etched design. Could do a practice run on a cheap mirror sheet.
