The Little Red Hen - when I was three or four years old, I had begged for someone to read this book to me so many times that I had memorized the whole book. I would "read" it to anyone who would listen - over and over again, until I actually believed that I was reading the book. It was my #1 favorite.

Worth Reading, High School, Books Worth, Kill, Movie, Harper Lee, Favorite Books, Mockingbird, Classic
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee - Time is the true test for something to be considered a classic. Somehow I missed reading this in high school and college. If ever there was a "modern" classic, this is it. Don't miss reading this one!
To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee - By far one of the top ten books of all times and one of the few that remained true to the book when it was made into a movie - both book and movie are classics
My 9th grade son is reading To Kill a Mockingbird in his English class. When I saw this book, it reminded me of all the classic novels I didn’t read in high school: The Grapes of Wrath, John Stein...
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee Time is the true test for something to be considered a classic.
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. The unforgettable novel of a childhood in a sleepy Southern town and the crisis of conscience that rocked it, To Kill A Mockingbird became both an instant bestseller and a critical success when it was first published in 1960. It went on to win the Pulitzer Prize in 1961 and was later made into an Academy Award-winning film, also a classic.
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Read the book about 5 times and saw the movie 3 times. Still can't get enough!
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Not to be missed. Gregory Peck movie is great. Book is better. FAVORITE !!

Worth Reading, High School, Books Worth, Kill, Harper Lee, Favorite Books, Time Favorite, Mockingbird
To Kill a Mockingbird: Harper Lee - One of my all time favorite books and movie adaptations, and I get something out of it with each reading. This is storytelling in rare form; Lessons are scarce in today's reality TV atmosphere. This is a book that will help you escape.
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee - Not my favorite book but absolutely necessary to read since there are so many references to it in our culture.
To Kill a Mockingbird Book | Harper Lee- My all time favorite book ever. So in love. My book has this cover too 💗
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee - still my all time favorite book. I read this for the first time in 6 grade. I fell in love with it and credit it for my passion for books. #ThriftBooksSchoolClassics
To Kill a Mockingbird: Harper Lee - One of my all time favorite books of al time. A BEAUTIFUL piece of literature, with a serious life lessons I still carry around.
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee ~ one of my favourite books in high school. I love this cover!
Neighbors bring food with death and flowers with sickness and little things in between. Boo was our neighbor. He gave us two soap dolls, a broken watch and chain, a pair of good-luck pennies, and our lives. But neighbors give in return. We never put back into the tree what we took out of it: we had given him nothing, and it made me sad. (harper lee, to kill a mockingbird)- This is one of my favorite books I read in high school. :)

#10 Banned Books Week 2013 Beloved by Toni Morrison. https://alpha1.suffolk.lib.ny.us:446/record=b3814014~S35
This is how tragedy and heartbreak should be written about. The word "beloved" shall always hold some different meaning for me
Beloved by Toni Morrison is #10 on the Office of Intellectual Freedom's list of most challenged and banned books because it's been deemed guilty by some of being sexually explicit, having a religious viewpoint and having violence.
Beloved (Toni Morrison) - not an easy read and there is so much meat to it. Even though it can seem a bit flowery, there is not a superfluous word.
Beloved by Toni Morrison, A.S. Byatt
Beloved (Morrison)- need to read!
