Monday, February 16, 2009 Letter Search For this activity I had this foam alphabet puzzle that I got for 88 cents at Walmart:) and a dish of rice. I popped out all the letters and mixed them in with the rice. I set this up in the sensory tub so Caden already new the rules and everything would stay neat. Here is a picture of how I set this activity up.

This pin contains alphabet puzzles for all 26 letters; inside each puzzle piece is a word that begins with the letter. This would be a helpful tool for young students who are just figuring out how to shape words and the sound the letter makes at the beginning of the word. It could also be a fun activity to have for students to complete during down time or available at a center during center time.
