YARN BIRD FEEDER - This is so cool!!! Just add a couple of handfuls of yarn scraps to an inexpensive suet feederI love doing this project its very easy and hang outside where the birds can find it. Then be on the lookout for birds nests in your neighborhood featuring your "building materials".Love watching different birds in my gardens pulling the yarn strings and flying away to make their new nest for her new family.

I never fail to feel a thrill when I see a bright strand of yarn carefully woven into a bird’s nest. You can also fill your suet feeder with raw fleece, if you have any handy. IMPORTANT MESSAGE: The Cornell Lab of Ornithology gives yarn scraps a thumbs up.http://www.birds.cornell.edu/Page.aspx?pid=1144 (Scroll down to “Nest Material”). I have also gotten approval from the Audubon Society BEFORE posting this. In other words, actual EXPERTS approve of this project.

bird bath feeder~ sweetness. I use vintage china EVERYDAY. this is so darling, and I am very HAPPY that it is made with already broken chipped pieces. I vow to preserve china intact. not ruin it to make something. it is too precious to break on purpose.
