Growth chart...I'd change it and add a hook that holds a little picture frame. The child's photo could have the stats on it. I think I'll also go to 5 feet.

diy growth chart This would be great since we are renters now. We had a place on a door frame that we did this in our home in Idaho. It was a sad moment for me when I realized that was something which had to be left behind.

What a neat idea for a little reading/play nook. Kids love having special little spaces like this.
