The Help by, Kathryn Stockett - Her first novel, set in 1960s Alabama. Wonderful characters and a really interesting look into the class structure of the deep South. I was sad when it ended.

Love me some Stephanie Plum! Read all the books in the Plum series and can't wait for the "One for the Money" movie to come out. I think Katherine Heigl is going to make a GREAT Stephanie Plum!

A Child Called It: I have no idea HOW I made it through this book. It was incredibly rough and could only read it in small doses. This was required reading for my minor in Child & Family Studies and my Abuse Against Women and Children course. IDK if I could've read it of my own free will.

a story of an incredibly brave kid. Brought tears to my eyes more times than I'm willing to count. But an amazing story of courage. part of a series written by the boy himself.
