Creative Reuse: Wine Bottle Borders

Although they could be tossed in the recycling bin, glass wine and beverage bottles seem too pretty (and useful and sturdy) not to repurpose. After spotting this garden border made of wine bottles in ReadyMade, we searched for some more examples and quite like the effect, especially when done with bottles of complementary colors and heights. What do you think?

Attracting Butterflies...A fun, unexpected surprise of our garden Bottle Edging was that the bottles have small indentations on the bottom—which collect small bits of water each time it rains or when we water. We’ve looked out and seen the garden edging lined with butterflies! A fun surprise we didn’t even plan. Love it!

Another pinner said ....Ghost Flowers. I did this with screening, clear plastic bottle bottoms and twinkle lights.
